Available now at Nick's Hand-Picked: a Fender EVH Striped Series '78 Eruption, expertly modified by Judah Guitars! This guitar was sent to Judah Guitars in Chattanooga, TN, for refinements, relic treatment, and the professional installation of a re-issued 1984 Floyd Rose and locking R3 nut. The result is improved tuning stability compared to the original Fender tremolo bridge. Enhancing both tone and sustain, the bridge block has been upgraded to a Big Brass Block measuring 42mm. Additionally, a Red EVH D-Tuna has been integrated into the Floyd Rose.
The relic work encompasses neck and body touch-ups, simulated cigarette burns on the headstock, an aged volume knob, and weathered hardware. The distinctive Judah Guitar logo is stamped on the rear of the headstock. With its incredible sound, comfortable playability, and pleasingly low action, this guitar is a true delight.
Included is an authentic 1978 Fender hard case that impeccably complements the late '70s aesthetic. The package also includes the original EVH gig bag, documentation, Allen keys, and Floyd Rose whammy bar. (Please note that the original Fender bridge is not included.)
