This Pre-Historic Les Paul Standard is an early example of what would come to be known as the R9 - the modern-day Custom Shop '59 Burst reissues. Built with special attention to 1959 specs this Les Paul Standard was manufactured by Gibson in 1989. This guitar is in excellent condition with virtually no significant wear, bumps , or dings! Nearly completely original too besides a swapped-out bridge but the original is in the original Gibson branded hardshell case. This Les Paul also features the legendary Bill Lawrence Designed HB-L & R Humbuckers! They have a ton of bite when cranked up but soften to a butter smooth clean tone when out for a cruise. These guitars are becoming ever increasingly rare and are great investments as values continue to rise on these Pre-Historic LPs. Don't miss your chance to claim this epic guitar for your own.
