Up for sale is a beautiful 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Wine Red, a classic Norlin-era Custom with serious tone and vintage character. This guitar has the unmistakable look and sound that made Les Paul Customs a staple on stages and records for decades.

The Wine Red finish with cream binding and gold hardware gives it that iconic early-’80s Custom aesthetic, and the ebony fingerboard with block inlays delivers the fast, smooth feel these guitars are known for.

This guitar is in Good Player's Grade Vintage condition, showing normal cosmetic wear for a 40+ year-old instrument, including a small chip on the front of the body. The finish has aged nicely and shows light play wear and small marks consistent with use, but nothing that affects playability or structural integrity.

Tonally, this guitar delivers exactly what you’d expect from a vintage Les Paul Custom: tight low end, strong midrange punch, and smooth singing sustain. The pickups are articulate and powerful, making it a great fit for rock, blues, country, or classic hard-rock tones.

This is a great player’s vintage Les Paul that still has decades of music left in it.
